Welcome Message from the Editor in Chief

Neurologia medico-chirurgica (NMC), the official publication of The Japan Neurosurgical Society, was first published in 1959 for the purpose of international exchange of knowledge in the expanding field of neurosurgery and neurosciences. The categories of manuscripts for NMC include Original Articles, Technical Notes, Rapid Communications, Special Topics, and Review Articles.

Since 2014, NMC Case Report Journal (NMC CRJ), a peer-reviewed, open access journal which publishes case reports in the fields of clinical neurosurgery, has been published as a sister journal of NMC.

Our goal is to contribute to the advancement of medical science and the improvement of the health of the public by publishing cutting-edge research discoveries and case reports related to neurosurgery.

NMC and NMC CRJ welcome contributions in English from any country.

We are committed to provide valuable articles and timely topics to our readers.
